REGISTRATION

All Participant and Staff (Youth & Adults) Registration Starts Here

This page will help guide you through a successful registration.  If you are Staffing, please visit the Staff Page specifics on staffing requirements, however, if you have been confirmed as staff, use this process. 

Initial Registration:

   1. Check prerequisites on the Requirements Page.

   2.  The cost of the course has been released on the payments page.

   3.  Make sure you have the following information before you begin the Initial application:

  • Permission from your parent/guardian

  • Contact information for you, and your parents/guardian (Address, phone with the country code, and Email)

  • Medical Form completion date (Only if you have one, Not required for Initial application).

  • Unit information (Council, District, Unit, Leadership position)

  • Required Training (exact dates not required, approximate month/year)

  • Youth Protection is highly encouraged for all participants. This can be completed after the application is submitted. Go to Youth Protection Page for details

  • Name and Contact information for your Unit Leader (Scoutmaster or Crew Adviser), Email and phone number (Do Not Guess, this information must be accurate).

  4.  Click on the Application Link, fill out the application online before continuing with the next steps, Below.

NOTE for Participants:  Once the Course Director has received your application, a decision will be made and you will be contacted concerning your application status.

Final Registration (All participants and Staff (youth & adults)) 
Participants: Only After you have been selected to attend the course:

Once your application is processed, and you have been selected to attend the course, continue with the following: 

   1.  Download the forms on the Forms Download page.

  2.  (Optional) want information on a possible Scholarship? Look on the Scholarship page

  3.  Go to Payment page for instructions on how to make your payment. (Ensure you print a copy of your receipt)
  4.   Send complete registration packet by postal mail or drop it off at the council office. Go to Far East Council page for details. The purpose of mailing the physical package is to protect your personal sensitive information.  If you are happy with Emailing this information, you are welcome to email it to me at fec.nylt.course.director@gmail.com   If you plan to drop this package off in person, you can find more locations on www.fareastcouncil.org
  • National Medical Form
  • Copy of health insurance card - both sides
  • Application and Code of Conduct forms
  • Additional medical permission forms (if needed)
  • Youth Protection certificate (All Staff and Venturing over 18 years old is required)
  • Payment receipt

Travel Plans:  Once you have made your travel plans, and have your itinerary, Please go to our Travel Details page and provide the details in our electronic form:

Registration Forms:

All forms are on this website.  All forms must be legible or they will be returned. That includes the complete filling in of all immunizations on the form.  Attached immunizations charts and copies will not be accepted.  Often these forms get detached and, in an emergency, the medic needs a standard process and location for access to immunization history to treat the applicant. No spaces will be held for incomplete or illegible forms. 

 

NOTE: Please ensure all forms are filled out so they are legible.  Unreadable applications may delay the registration process.  Please print, fill in,  sign, scan and then email to the Course Director at "fec.nylt.course.director@gmail.com" or "NYLT@fareastcouncil.org"

 

Important Registration Info:

NYLT fills up quickly, please do not delay in getting your application submitted.  An email will be sent to acknowledge and confirm registration when completed forms have been approved.  

 

Medical Form C is the annual physical required by National.  These are due as soon as possible with a deadline of 1 June 2018.  If your Medical Form C is not received by 1 June 2018, the applicant will be placed on a waitlist.  Your space will not be reserved.  All confirmations are based on complete forms and fees.
