Fund raising and donations to cover costs

The Council is always looking for Donations to help offset the cost. Especially here in the Far East where everyone is so spread out, it can cost quite a bit to get to different parts of our council for anything. 

If we have these funds available, and you have a need, contact the course director to be considered.

Other options to help cover the costs

Chartering Organizations

Some units have asked their Chartering Organization for help in covering costs. Contact your Charter Organization Representative today.

Your Home unit

Many units recognize the importance of leadership training and will offer financial assistance from unit funds to youth and adults to attend.  Some units have fundraisers specifically to help offset the costs for training, long term camps, activities, and equipment. Talk to your Committee Chairman or other adult leaders in your unit about possibly using some of these funds to offset the cost. After all, this training will not only benefit you in your leadership development, but it will also benefit your unit. Especially if you make a commitment to use the skills you gain in this training to benefit the unit's operations.
