ALL Participants, Staff, both local and traveling in. 

 

It is imperative that we collect all travel plans so that we can ensure everyone who needs a ride, gets a ride. 

You have two options for domestic or international travel - Narita International Airport (NRT), and Haneda International Airport (HND). Haneda is about 90 minutes from the course site, whereas Narita can be as much as 3 hours from the course site. 

 

Haneda International Airport (HND).  If you plan to fly into Haneda, plan to arrive no later than 10:00 AM on Tuesday, 26 June.  If you are departing from Haneda, Plan to depart No Earlier than 7:00 PM on Sunday, 1 July.

 

Narita International Airport (NRT), If you plan to fly into Narita, plan to arrive no later than 9:00 AM on Tuesday, 26 June.  If you are departing from Narita, Plan to depart No Earlier than 8:00 PM on Sunday, 1 July.

Food and lodging will be provided for all participants who arrive early and/or stay late.  Registration will begin promptly at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, 26 June. Graduation will be Sunday, 1 July at approximately 3:00 PM.

NOTE for Participants or Staff who stay on site beyond 1 July 2018:

If you have to stay at Tama Recreation Area beyond 1 July, Scouts and staff will be moved to the Tama Lodge for a maximum of 1 night. Please make sure to bring extra cash to pay for food and extra items if they plan to eat at the lodge or purchase items from the Gift Store.

 

STAFF

Staff are required to be at the course site 2 - 3 days early for Site setup and staff development. For arrival, please plan to arrive on Saturday the 23rd if at all possible. 

 

All arrivals and departures must be coordinated with our staff to ensure there is someone there to pick you up, drop you off, and in order to ensure meals and sleeping accommodations are available.  If for some reason your departing flight is later than 2 July, there is the possibility that hotel accommodations off-site may be required and should be planned for accordingly.

Once you arrive at the Airport:

As long as we have your flight information well in advance, we will have someone meet you at the airport, just outside of baggage claim (Domestic Side) or immigration on the international side. Make sure you are traveling in some BSA affiliated Class 'A' or Class 'B' uniform so you can be easily recognized.
